Never miss an email from Sanderson.

At Sanderson, we frequently send emails with our latest financial insights, emerging trends, and important firm updates. However, due to circumstances out of our control, emails occasionally get filtered into clients’ spam or junk folders.

Please follow the instructions below for adding Sanderson to your approved email sender list. This quick, one-time process ensures that all our emails (from your adviser and the firm) arrive in your inbox.

Start by selecting the email program you use, as the steps vary by provider. If you need assistance or do not see your email program listed below, please contact Angelo Goodenough at angelo@sandersonllc.com or (phone number here).

Microsoft Outlook – Desktop Application
  1. Open the Outlook application
  2. Click the “Home” ribbon
  3. Click the “Junk” button (you may have to click the down arrow on the right side to expand the ribbon)
  4. Click “Junk E-mail Options…
  5. Click the “Safe Senders” tab
  6. Click “Add…
  7. Enter “@sandersonllc.com” in the text field (excluding the quotation marks)
  8. Click “OK
Microsoft Outlook – Web Version
  1. Open Outlook in your internet browser
  2. Click the “Settings” button in the top right (gear icon)
  3. Click the “Mail” tab in the left-side menu
  4. Click “Junk email” in the right-side menu
  5. Click “Add” under the “Safe senders and domains” section
  6. Enter “sandersonllc.com” in the text field (excluding the quotation marks)
  7. Hit the “Enter” key
  8. Click “Save
Apple iOS Mail (for iPhone and iPad)
  1. Open the “Contacts” app
  2. Create a contact for “Sanderson Email
  3. Add your adviser’s email address

If you have an email from Sanderson that has already been labeled as “junk,” you can take the following steps to redirect future messages to your inbox.

  1. Find Sanderson emails which may be in the Junk folder
  2. Open the email
  3. Click the folder icon to the right of the “Delete” icon
  4. Click “Inbox” to move it to the Inbox folder
Apple OS X Mail (for Apple desktop computers and laptops)
  1. Open the Mail app
  2. Click the “Mail” button in the top left
  3. Click “Preferences
  4. Click the “Rules” tab
  5. Click “Add Rule
  6. Enter a description (for example, “Sanderson Approved Email”)
  7. Click the box next to “If
  8. Select “any” from the drop-down
  9. Click the box on the next line
  10. Select “From
  11. Click the box to the right of “From
  12. Select “ends with
  13. Enter “@sandersonllc.com” in the text field (excluding the quotation marks)
  14. Click the right-most drop-down box under “Perform the following actions
  15. Select “Inbox
  16. Click “OK
Gmail – Internet browser version
  1. Open Gmail.com and log into your email account
  2. Click the Settings icon in the top right (gear icon)
  3. Click “See all settings
  4. Click the “Filters and Blocked Addresses” tab
  5. Click “Create a new filter
  6. Enter “@sandersonllc.com” in the From field (excluding the quotation marks)
  7. Click “Create filter
  8. Check the box “Never send it to Spam
  9. Check the box “Categorize as:”
  10. Click the box next to “Categorize as:” that reads “Choose category…
  11. Select “Primary
  12. Click “Create filter
Gmail App (for phones, tablets, and Chromebooks)
  1. Open the Gmail app
  2. Find emails from Sanderson in the “Promotions” folder
  3. Open the email
  4. Click the triple-dot icon in the top right
  5. Click “Move
  6. Click “Primary
  7. Find emails from Sanderson in the “Spam” folder
  8. Open the email
  9. Click the triple-dot icon in the top right
  10. Click “Report not spam
Android Mail App
  1. Open the “Contacts” app
  2. Create a contact for “Sanderson Emails
  3. Add your adviser’s email address
